Dr. Corey Narson practiced chiropractic and sports chiropractic for over 25 years before retiring from active practice in 2017.

A 1990 graduate of Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia, Dr. Narson has lived in South Florida for more than 20 years. She is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association and the Dade County Chiropractic Society.

In 1994, Dr. Narson was part of the original group accepted into the Chiropractic Division at Golden Glades Regional Medical Center — among the first chiropractors in the country to hold hospital privileges, at a time such arrangements were virtually unheard of in Florida.

In the year 2000, Dr. Narson was honored and privileged to be appointed as a State Board Examiner for the Florida Department of Health, Board of Chiropractic Medicine's State Licensing Examination — administering the licensing exam for potential new doctors wishing to practice in Florida. Less than 1% of chiropractic physicians in Florida are even considered for such a position.

She completed post-graduate certification coursework in chiropractic sports injuries and holds the CCSP® — a credential held by only 3% of chiropractors nationally. During her career she had the privilege of being invited to treat the cast and crews of the Broadway tours of Les Misérables, The Rockettes, and Damn Yankees.

Dr. Narson currently serves on the Pillar Trustee Board for sports medicine. Her philosophy — shared with Dr. Todd — is that everyone deserves the knowledge of a sports-medicine physician, because everyone, in their own way, is an athlete at some level.

Post-graduate certification held by only 3% of chiropractors nationally. The foundation of her decades of work with athletes — including Broadway tours, Olympic-level athletes, and weekend warriors alike.

After twenty-five years of helping bodies move through chiropractic, I found another language for the same work. Yoga wasn't a departure — it was a continuation.

Present

2019 · Certified RYT
Marianne Wells, Costa Rica

Over the past few years Dr. Narson began studying yoga in earnest. In 2019 she became a certified yoga instructor through the Marianne Wells School of Yoga in Costa Rica.

Combining her knowledge of health, wellness, and spinal alignment from her chiropractic career with her knowledge and passion for yoga, she now teaches group classes, private yoga sessions, corporate yoga-wellness programs, and yoga therapy.

For Dr. Narson, this isn't a departure from a lifetime's work — it's a continuation. Chiropractic taught her how bodies fall out of alignment, and how to bring them back. Yoga offers the same wisdom through a different doorway: breath, posture, mindful motion, and a practice that patients can carry home with them.

She currently practices yoga instruction full-time, having retired her Florida Chiropractic License in order to do so.
